 Trying to convince the whole world that black is white… Out of all the institutions created or controlled by the totalitarian regimes, the propagandistic one is the most interesting by far, because, above all, the object of its work is the human mind. The historian Eugen Denize took upon himself the difficult and painstaking task of dismantling, with the minuteness of the historian edified in the old educational systems, this infernal apparatus of distortion represented by the communist propaganda as well as the task of showing to everybody its internal resorts and the reasons behind it. This book is essential in order to understand how the diligent and skillful peasant of the Romanian village became the odious “well-to-do” (Rom.: “chiabur”) and how crime became a moral gesture according to the “revolutionary” principles.
